Empowering people in the community to ride a bike more often for transport is central to our mission. We strive to bring people to an experience of bike riding that suits their needs and lifestyle. We run programs for Individuals, Communities and some designed solely for Women. All of our programs are delivered by qualified Austcycle Teachers and Coaches, and all participants are insured by Cycling Australia insurance.

TRAINING INDIVIDUALS

You know how the saying goes, 'It's just like riding a bike...' We are all conditioned into believing that riding a bike is something we should have learnt in childhood, and getting back on should be the simplest thing in the world. Becoming confident on a bike takes time. You can't expect to be successful on your first try, and it will take you time to build up your skills and knowledge to take on a busy traffic environment. Find out more about our training programs for individuals below.

TRAINING COMMUNITIES

There is nothing we enjoy more than sharing our love of riding with communities of people who stand to benefit the most from the freedom and opportunity a bicycle can bring. We are open to working on projects of any size or scope, and have experience working with participants from non English speaking backgrounds.

TRAINING WOMEN

We know that many women feel intimidated by the thought of learning to ride a bike with men, or even learning in an environment that is too, well, 'bikey'. We've responded to this need by creating a training curriculum designed for Pushy Women. All of our teachers are female, and we offer some of our Individual and Community courses especially for women, just click on the bookings links to find out the dates on offer ladies!
