Op Shopping and bike riding – a match made in heaven!
Ok. So there’s not much point in explaining the appeal of a freshly stocked op shop. A good friend of mine once said ‘The feeling I get when I walk into an opshop I’ve never been to before is pretty much the best thing I can experience’. Granted, she has since fallen in love and had a baby so that MIGHT have t0pped it, but if you’re with us, your’re with us. We needn’t say more.
SO, imagine our excitement when we met SUPER lady Jo O’Callaghan of Op Shop Tours and conspired to bring our two great loves together – to create the first ever Squeaky Wheel Bicycle OpShop Tour.
Staged as part of the Port Phillip Winter Lifestyle and Leisure program, these tours take in all of the wonders of the Southside, so ladies of the north – imagine all that fresh second-hand goodness. Or even better, people of the south – get your legs and hanger-flicking arms moving with a morning of non-stop pre-loved fun.
Places on the ride are limited and BOOKINGS are ESSENTIAL. But like all good things in life (except those $4 freshwater pearls you’ll dig out) these tours are FREE.
